Asking for financial contributions

Gaianet belongs to us all, so we are all asked to take ownership of the financial wellbeing of the community. So that this beautiful organism called Gaianet can grow and expand healthily and steadily. In summary: Gaianet needs financial support to exist.

Up until today, Gaianet has been an organization of volunteers. For one full year, the Gaianet core team worked without any compensation to get the movement off the ground (4 people full-time and 8 people part-time, and the minimum required expenses were paid out-of-pocket by the core team).

Now, the “baby” called Gaianet has grown into a toddler and is ready to stand on its own two feet.

Gaianet’s community members consistently receive valuable connections and experiences, so the ecosystem is ready to support its own wellbeing. We believe that in an abundant world, gratitude is the currency. For this reason, you can choose which type of contribution is the best reflection of your energy exchange with Gaianet. We also believe in transparency, so we promise to report back to you how your money was used. And finally what’s good to know: we prefer recurring monthly contributions because a predictable income stream helps us grow better and faster.

To define which amount is right for you, we invite you to consider:

• Which value do you receive from and through Gaianet? (E.g. knowledge, connections, support)

• What is that worth to you?

• Which part(s) of that value are you willing and able to give back in the form of a financial contribution?

Two ways to contribute

Contribute financially

You, as a Gaian, are an essential source of nurture for the Gaianet organization. With your help, we can grow the roots of a New Earth. We calculated that with an average monthly contribution of €30 per community member, the organization is healthy and can continue to evolve.

You are entirely free to determine what is right for you. If contributing financially is not a feasible options for you right now, please choose the second option: to contribute in kind.

Contribute in kind

Maybe you are not in the position to contribute financially. Money is only one form of energy, so you are happily invited to contribute otherwise: for example with time, skills, knowledge, network or other resources.
