Deep Trust – Followed by Alignment Beyond any Expectation ...!

Many things in this world are priceless. Finding the right allies and collaborators who burn for the same thing as you, ready to co-create what is in your heart is one of those things that money can’t buy. It’s invaluable. For that reason and because they know this is exactly what’s needed to create a new earth of lived interconnectedness and active love and care, Gaianet connects people and projects. And they are flipping good at it ...!

I was blessed to hold an inspiring interview with Flávia Hashimoto and Barbara Lima. What a great story of an unbelievable level of match-making!

“I could not have asked for anything more beautiful and fantastic than what I found in Flávia.” (Barbara)

WHO?

Flávia Hashimoto’s passion for exploring creativity took her on a path into visual and editorial design. She is a dreamer, a creative, and a curious and sensitive soul and has been working with communication, design and photography for 18 years. Flávia is a master in translating other people’s dreams and ideas into visual language. Through professional experience she learned about the importance of collaborative work and how creation is made of many unique parts.

Barbara Lima is the founder, editor-in-chief and creative director of The Weave Magazine, a seasonal, regenerative publication documenting the Regenaissance. She is also co-founder, co-steward and creative director of The Loom, a New Earth, multimedia creative studio supporting purpose-driven entrepreneurs and organizations in sculpting their message through regenerative communication.

BEFORE THEY KNEW EACH OTHER

Flávia, a visual designer with 18 years of experience with editorials and publishing, was looking for work and collaboration where she can use her superpowers and feels aligned with her deeper purpose and heart’s-voice. She was tired of working with big publishers and only creating for mainstream sales and marketing. When Daan Gorter (co-founder of Gaianet) mentioned the magazine The Weave to her and that Barbara was looking for support, she was excited to be involved in this project: it fully aligned with her need and desire to still use her creative superpowers but align them with her soul purpose.

On the other side, not yet knowing Flávia, Barbara was looking for a visual designer for The Weave, with the launch date for the first edition around the corner. After identifying a misalignment in her previous partnership, Barbara realized that she needed to change direction and find new collaborators to work on the project. That meant taking a big leap of faith, jumping into the unknown. In a conversation with Daan Gorter, a good friend of hers, Daan asked if there was anything he could do to help. Barbara said, “Well, I need help with visual layout design.” Daan mentioned Flávia who was already working with Gaianet as a visual designer and said he would put the two in touch.

THE MEETING

There was great synergy, resonance and alignment between Flávia and Barbara from the first moment, on many different levels. As the collaboration continued, it became even more apparent just what a good match these two are.

“It felt like I was rewarded by the universe for taking such a big leap of faith by bringing someone into my space who was much more aligned than I could have ever asked for – not only on a professional level but also on a soul level.” (Barbara)

First, the two newly found partners started communicating in English, before they realized that they are both Brazilian and switched to Portuguese – even more of a match and alignment!

“I had no ambition to find an art director and visual designer who had experience in the publishing industry. I was just looking for someone who could help me with layout design, never mind someone with so much experience in publishing. Then there was Flávia, who had 18 years of experience working in the publishing industry and had even been working for this magazine in Brazil that I knew. This meeting was really, really magical.”

The joy, gratitude and blessing felt for this meeting were so tangible in the call – both women beaming with love and appreciation for one another. So beautiful. In Barbara’s words, the level of alignment was ... “scary” in a way, in a good way!

NEXT-LEVEL ALIGNMENT

Again and again, both were spilling over with much appreciation for the level of resonance and alignment – professionally, personally, spiritually, etc.

“This partnership has been the most spectacular co-creative experience of my life. This level of telepathy that we experience, mind-blowing ...” (Barbara)

“With Barbara, even if we don’t talk, things just flow! Being an ally in this project is totally aligned with my purpose. This is what I want to do. Having Barbara as a partner in this journey and co-creation is phenomenal because the connection is beyond profession, into the heart and soul space. This is exactly what I was looking for.” (Flávia)

THE RESULT

Flávia became the ally and visual designer for The Weave, super happy that she is utilizing her superpowers and working with people where heart connection is a given. In Flávia, Barbara had found a real ally that was right there with her, navigating any challenges and planning, crafting and publishing the first three editions of The Weave with her.

Flávia started as a volunteer. The agreement was that The Weave would start paying her after the 1st edition was published (22nd of September 2022) but the money that was expected did not come through. Still, she continued with her work and support, leaving a strong impression on Barbara as someone who honours values and mutual support, no matter what. From the 3rd edition onwards, The Weave could start paying Flávia for her invaluable expertise, presence and creativity.

There is something precious and beautiful that happens when we shine light on the golden connections that are woven and knitted through the weaving of Gaianet. They become visible and are celebrated.

“We never spoke about our experience of how we met and it is so good to hear from you, your story of how we met!” (Flávia)

Thank you, Gaianet, for your continuous love and service to connect the people and projects that are unknowingly looking for one another. This indeed is priceless ...
